RV Camping Center at Historic Banning Mills

Pets are allowed on the RV sites but not in the cabins or cottages. Pets must be kept on a leash or runner or inside the camper and must not disturb the area with barking. Please have your pet’s shot (rabies) records with you at check-in.

Check out time is 12 noon and check-in time is between 4 and 7 pm (or before dark). Remember: you must be here before 7 pm or before Dark, whichever comes first. You will NOT be able to get into the Park after 7 pm or at Dark to check in. Please make your travel plans accordingly.

You must cancel your reservation with us seven days before your reservation date. If you cancel within the seven day time period or you are a no-show, you will be charged a one night stay and a $20 dollar cancellation fee. If you have reserved any adventure treks, those cancellation policies will apply as well. If you cancel your reservation outside of the 7 days, a $20 dollar cancellation fee will be applied to the credit card.

The $20 charge covers the reservation and credit card handling fees that the park incurs whether a guest comes or cancels.

The park has horseshoes, miniature golf, catch and release fishing at the lake, hiking trails, swimming in season at the pool (pool opens the last weekend in May and closes in September), and paddle boats on the lake. (you will need to bring your own fishing gear and bait). The Facility has two clubhouses. The clubhouse on the RV side is temporarily closed but the Inn side clubhouse is open.

Banning Mills has one of the longest and highest zip line canopy tours in the world right here on site. We have horseback riding, kayaking treks, low and high ropes courses and GPS treks. We also have a Day Spa located on the Inn side of the park. Adventure treks and the Day Spa are made by reservation and are priced depending on which trek one reserve. Many of the adventure treks have weight and age restrictions, so please call us or browse the website for that information. Adventure treks and the Day Spa do have cancellation policies set too. Remember, we book quickly on our adventure treks so make your reservations early so you won’t miss an opportunity.

We do not allow ATV’s to be used anywhere on the property.

Pricing for the sites is based on 2 adults and 2 children per camper. If there are more guests than as stated above, there will be a $4 per person per day charge added to the regular site pricing.

We do not allow swimming in the Lake at this time. Guests can wade in the Snake Creek or swim in the pools.

There are two sections to the Banning Mills facility. The RV park and the Country Inn side. There are no restaurants on the RV park side. The country inn side has an onsite chef that cooks for scheduled groups. There is no open restaurant but breakfast is served most days. Our RV guests can call the main lodge number to ask the staff about reserving spaces for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This must be done in advance since the chef is not always there.

No, we do not have cable TV on the RV sites. There is FREE wireless internet over most of the property. The cabins and cottages do have satellite tv but no phones.

The park does have an unmanned gate. When you check in, you will be issued a gate card that will give you access into and out of the park. This card must be returned at check out or a $50 lost gate card fee will be charged to your credit card.
