Each camp counselor can have up to 12 campers in his/her group. Camper groups are based on age. We do our best to keep campers only a year or two in age difference together. If your camper has a friend attending and would like to be grouped together, please be sure to make this request in the notes section of the registration form and we will do our best to honor the request.

Does My Camper Have to Participate?

Our motto at Camp Adventure and Camp Extreme is challenge by choice, meaning your camper decides whether he/she wants to participate. The purpose of the camp is to encourage your camper to reach outside of his/her comfort zone and find their brave. We will strongly encourage your camper to try everything and challenge themselves to try something new and conquer fears but your camper will never be FORCED into participating in an activity.

What if My Camper Can't Swim?

Each camper will take a swim test the first time their group goes to the pool. In the event your swimmer cannot complete the test or has difficulties, he/she will not be allowed in the deep end of the pool. You are more than welcome and encourage you to send your camper with a life jacket or floaties and our camp counselor will make sure they use them during swim time or water-related activities.

What Happens if it Rains?

Camp Adventure and Extreme are very much focused on outdoor activities. If the rain is light and no thunder or lightning, you may catch us playing in the rain!!!! In the event of heavy rain or stormy weather, we will have indoor group activities, team building activities, and group games.
