Moonlight Zip Line Tours & Moonlight Packages
"Theeeey're baaaack!" Get ready for a thrilling adventure with our exclusive Moonlight Zip Line Tours
Event Details:
- Two Saturdays: October 24th & October 31st
- Times: Tours available between 7 pm and 9:30 pm (every 30 min)
- Cost: $109 per person
- Skip straight to Levels 2, 3, and 4 under the eerie glow of the moon!
- Duration: Approximately 2 - 2.5 hours
- Reservations required

What to expect on tour:
- Soar across 900- and 1000-foot-long zip lines as high as 200 feet above Snake Creek Gorge.
- Traverse 8 skybridges up to 80 feet high and experience our 1500-foot Big Daddy high-speed zip.
- Conquer our 600-foot Sky Trek Suspension Bridge and the half-mile-long Screaming Eagle, all illuminated by moonlight.
Why zip at night?
Fly by trees that seem just within reach, bask in the moon's silver light over Snake Creek, and listen to the enchanting sounds of the forest at night.
Which date is better for you?
Besides the date that best fits your schedule, the other thing to consider is what phase the moon will be! October 24th is two days before the full moon (waxing gibbous) and will be a lighter sky. October 31st will be a slightly darker sky (waning gibbous). Of course, we can't control cloud cover, so either date might be super dark!
Costumes are welcome! Ensure they're safe for zip lining: no full-face masks, keep them PG-rated, and avoid dresses and unsecured accessories. Make sure your costume allows you to wear a helmet and harness properly.

About the Crazy Squirrel Adventure
Tier 1 of our Crazy Squirrel Aerial Adventure Course is the perfect introduction to ziplining and aerial adventures for young explorers and first-time thrill seekers!
Participants will tackle five zip lines and nine aerial challenge elements, ranging from 4 to 20 feet above the ground. The course takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour to complete.
Children as young as 4 can participate. Children ages 4–10 must be accompanied by a participating adult on the course. Children ages 11 and up may participate without an adult but must be able to reach a height of 44 inches.
Maximum weight is 250 pounds for females and 285 pounds for males.

What’s for Breakfast?
Come hungry! Breakfast includes squirrel-shaped pancakes, Crazy Taters, fresh fruit, mini muffins, crispy bacon, and freshly scrambled eggs, along with an assortment of juices and, of course, coffee for Mom and Dad!
Just Joining Us for Breakfast?
Family and friends who aren’t participating in the Crazy Squirrel Adventure can still join the fun! Breakfast-only tickets are available for $15.95 per person and can be added when booking your adventure package.
Please remember: Children ages 4–10 must have a participating adult accompany them on the Crazy Squirrel course. A breakfast-only ticket does not meet the accompanying adult requirement.

Your adventure doesn’t have to end after Crazy Squirrel! Booking an activity at Historic Banning Mills includes free access to our 18-hole putt-putt course and hiking trails, so stick around and challenge the family to a round or explore the beauty of the gorge together.
Putt-putt is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Our Crazy Squirrel Aerial Course transforms for the holidays with a magical lights display!
Bring the family out to zip line, climb, swing, and explore the trees after the sun goes down and the lights come on.

Tier 2
Crazy Squirrel Tier 2 takes the fun to a whole new level and is guaranteed to give you a good night sleep! The second tier features 38 different aerial elements including zip lines and unique aerial challenges with heights ranging from 15 to 60 feet off the ground. This tier is split into two sections, allowing a break in the middle for water.
- Minimum age: 9 years
- Children ages 9-11 must be accompanied by an adult on the course
- Children ages 11 and up may go unaccompanied but must be able to reach a height of 70 inches
- Minimum weight: N/A
- Maximum weight: 250 lbs. for females and 285 lbs. for males
- Approximate time: 2 – 3 hours
- Price: $60.95 per person

The cost per person is only $7 and free for children 4 and under. We do not pre-sell tickets for this event. Simply pay in the main lodge before the show!
