Militray Discount Details

We are proud to offer a 10% discount on activities or lodging to all military service members and veterans as a token of our gratitude.

Please call to book, as our staff needs to apply the discount during the reservation process. Remember to have your military ID handy at check-in.

Details:

The discount is applicable to either lodging OR activities, not both. If you book both, we will apply the discount to the lodging price.

Exclusions:

The discount cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
It does not apply to the Level 1 Zip Line Canopy Tour, Tier 1 Crazy Squirrel Aerial Course, or Horseback Tours.

Group Discount Details

We offer a 10% discount for groups of 10 or more. Bring your company, camp, church, or any group of friends and family!

There can only be one point of contact and payment for your group. You can collect the money from your group however you want, but the full reservation amount must be paid on one card. The person who made the reservation must be present to check-in and have the card used to make the reservation and an ID with the name used to make the reservation.

Reservations are required for groups. Please call or email us at info@historicbanningmills.com to set up your reservation and receive your group discount. Let us know if you would like to book dinning for your group! Our kitchen can prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner if planned ahead of time.

Discover the Hidden Wonders of Snake Creek Gorge!

Join us for an immersive Nature Walk & Talk led by Toby Saunders, MS Biology, a professor at The University of West Georgia. This two-hour guided trek will take you through the stunning trails of Snake Creek Gorge, a landscape that feels as if you've stepped into the Appalachian Mountains—yet, remarkably, you haven’t left the foothills of Georgia’s Piedmont.

As we explore this unique and mysterious ecosystem, you’ll learn about the fascinating plant life of Banning Mills, including species typically found in the Blue Ridge region. The terrain and plant communities create a unique environment, making this hike an unforgettable experience for nature lovers and curious minds alike.

After the hike, enjoy a delicious lunch at the Main Lodge. The menu will be posted soon.

Trail Difficulty:
This moderate trail follows Snake Creek, featuring gentle hills, rocky paths, and occasional steeper sections. Expect to navigate over roots and uneven terrain—sturdy footwear is recommended!

Nature Show at Banning Tortoise and Lizard

Get up close to some of nature's most incredible creatures!

The cost per person is only $7 and free for children 4 and under. We do not pre-sell tickets for this event. Simply pay in the main lodge before the show!
