FORT BENNING SOLDIERS COME TO HISTORIC BANNING MILLS FOR ADVENTURE

It is no secret that Historic Banning Mills proudly supports the United States Armed Forces.  We proudly support and sponsor The Wounded Warrior Project and various Military support initiatives.   It’s widely known that all branches of the United States Military have numerous training facilities across the United States that provide our troops with top-notch training to protect this Country and its citizens.   But where does the Military go to break away from the rigorous training?  Historic Banning Mills of course!

The Morale, Welfare & Recreation Unit recently brought Bravo Company Wolf Pack to Historic Banning Mills as part of its deactivation for a little bit of adventure and a whole lot of fellowship.  Soldiers raced side-by-side on a super zip line that zips over Snake Creek Gorge offering the serene view of the creek as well as the beautiful foliage that is painted in vibrate fall colors!

Historic Banning Mills considers it a great honor to host our United States Military.  While the soldiers expressed excitement about their adventures, we received several compliments on the lunch we prepared for them.  We aren’t sure which they enjoyed more, but one thing is for sure, they went back to Ft. Benning with smiles and full bellies!
